Delete your account and data

Sign in and open your profile settings. At the bottom, under "Delete account", you can start the deletion. You confirm it with your password and are signed out afterwards. It takes effect immediately and is final.

You can also request deletion in writing. Please write from the email address your account was created with so we can identify it. No reason needed.

Along with the account we remove everything that belongs to you alone:

• Your profile with name, email address, phone number and picture
• Your private songs, setlists, notes and tasks
• Files you uploaded, such as sheet music, lyrics and attachments
• Signed-in devices, push tokens and sign-ins via Google or Apple

Two things we cannot delete with it:

• Invoices and accounting records are retained while statutory retention periods apply. They are blocked and used for that purpose only.
• Content owned by a band — shared setlists, concerts or rehearsals — stays with the band so the other members can keep working. If you are the last owner of a company, the company and its bands are deactivated along with your account.
• Your bands and companies keep your name in their own business records: in the performance history, in fee settlements and on invoices they issued. Otherwise there would be no way to document who played which concert and who issued which invoice. The basis is the band's legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where a fee was agreed, the statutory retention period under §147 AO and §257 HGB. Everywhere else your name is removed.

Deleting from your account takes effect immediately. An email request is handled within 30 days and confirmed to you. Backups expire within another 30 days.
