The Leitweg-ID uniquely addresses public buyers in Germany's electronic invoicing system.
The Leitweg-ID is mandatory in XRechnung documents to public authorities. It is assigned by the buyer and routes the invoice to the correct recipient through the federal or state invoice portal. Structure: coarse address – fine address – check digit.
Per customer you can store the Leitweg-ID – it is automatically injected into the XRechnung when you issue an e-invoice to that customer.
